Suhi Koizumi

Ms.
Koizumi handles all aspects of business immigration including labor
certifications, H-1B and other non-immigrant visa petitions for
intra-company transferees, NAFTA professionals, and individuals
of extraordinary ability, and immigrant visa petitions. She works
closely with legal and human resources personnel of corporate clients
to service a wide variety of immigration concerns.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Koizumi worked at a full-service
immigration law firm based in San Francisco. In addition to her
specialty of business immigration law, she also represented clients
in naturalization and adjustment of status proceedings before the
USCIS, and clients in removal proceedings before the Immigration
Court, the Board of Immigration Appeals, and the Ninth Circuit Court
of Appeals.
While specializing in business immigration law, Ms. Koizumi has
devoted years of service to a wide array of issues affecting diverse
immigrant communities. She was an advocate for women fleeing gender-related
harm at Center for Gender & Refugee Studies and actively campaigned
for children of undocumented immigrants at the Asian Law Caucus.
She frequently volunteers at Bay Area immigration clinics, providing
support with immigration issues to indigent clients.
Ms. Koizumi was born in Seoul, Korea and lived in both Korea and
Japan before coming to the United States as a high school student.
She is fluent in English and Korean and is conversant in Japanese.
